ya i ran yast2 from the prompt and i picked install software, it sat there and read the cdrom for a while and then it stopped and the
program died but the picture it gives didn't go away...the prompt was being writen over it...and it was being writen wierd they werent
aligned to the left they were one after another. dont know what the problem was there
