Execlco is a Consulting and Software Solutions Company. We are
Linux and open source enthusiasts here. We also have to have a
high tolerance for M$ and even Macintosh enthusiasts.
We have recently re-located to McCormick Parkway and Hayden,
near the Loop 101 and Indian Bend. See http://www.excelco.com/map
for map to our offices.
I have 1600 square feet of office space, and the $$$ rent associated
with it. I am on a lease and cannot easily walk from it.
I also need a Linux and Mixed Network support person. I am
seeking Linux and network consultant to share part of the space
with us. A person who does Linux and M$ networks, hardware,
communications, web construction, and cabling would complement
our skills. A programmer with database skills would also fit in
quite well here. I will also be seeking a techie with accounting,
business management, and heavy duty data migration skills.
I am willing to trade consulting time for a share in the rent. For
example, I would consider booking a charge for the space used
here but would offset that by credit for doing some of our work.
The hourly rate for work done this way would depend on skill level
and applicability to our needs. If we find more work than that
required to make the rent, we would pay for the extra time sold
at rates to which we would mutually agree.
At this moment, we are not running a mentoring program or
internship. I am seeking consultants who know how to bill
their time and who know how to keep clients happy. I do prefer
a REAL networking consultant, programmer or other specialist
who is enthusiastic about open source, not a WANABEE who
only knows about M$ stuff. That person needs to have an attitude
of toleration toward M$ stuff because we have clients who want
that.
Please respond by e-mail first. If we talk on the phone, I would
prefer to do that after hours.
I will cross-post this to AZIPA and aztechlist, but I want to edit
out some of the text that M$ enthusiasts will find offensive.
