try:
cat /proc/cpuinfo

you should see sections for processor 0 and processor 1

Also on boot there are sevral times that more than one processor is refered
to, and there is also an additional large number grid that pops up that I
can't remember off the top of my head what it is...some sort of memory
map... Anyway, it not there normally and you can't miss it, but it is one of
the first things that pops up.
