Another thought just struck me about this whole deal.  The state just
finished spending millions to by computers for schools.  If they were going
to go with an ASP solution for all applications, why didn't they save money
and by thin client machines or less powered or used PCs since they don't
need to be self sustaining computer anyway?!?  Oh, the waste!
