Any idea what happens? I have a feeling that mine doesn't, it wouldn't boot right after running tune2fs -j /dev/hda5 and editing /etc/fstab, I had to re-edit fstab for it to boot. So maybe the question is..did the stock kernel shipping with RH 7.1 support ext3 out of the box?
