What I really like about it is that I can turn someones e-mail into a 
postscript or PDF file.  Probably not much use for most people but 
for me it's a bonus.

KDE 2.2 would seem to be very smooth all around.  That combined with 
a choice of Windowmaker, Enlightenment, GNOME 1.4 and the others 
makes me wonder why I would need a Microsoft product for anything 
other than business accounting.  I see that Ximian is now shipped 
with HP desktops as standard and Ximian also say that they will 
produce their own version of .NET.
