I recently got a new laptop and decided to put Mandrake 8[1] on it and give it a spin.. I must say that I am very impressed by it. It has a level of polish that I've yet to see from any other distro. Anyway, 2.4.3mdk whatever is a bit out of date for me, so I'm looking to upgrade. I was wondering if there was a central repository of patches that are used in the Mandrake kernels.. most notably the boot logo[2] and the supermount patch[3]. I like to keep up on newer kernels, and I need IPSec, and Firewire, so a more custom kernel is necesarry. Thanks! Sam [1]: Despite the 'GNU/Linux' thing. [2]: I dig no aestetics. Anyone who saw my last laptop could tell you this. [3]: http://www.geocities.com/alexismikhailov/supermount.html and it did not patch cleanly. :(
