I hate qwest "service," even more than I hate Microsoft. Qwest has messed up my bill too many times. Now that they are joining forces, I will be looking for an alternative. I live in a condo, and my unit is attached only to one other condo. But there are other *buildings* on this particular property. Sprint ION says their service is not available in buildings with more than 4 units. I wonder if that applies to me. What is the reason for this restriction? Any experiences? > -----Original Message----- > From: plug-discuss-admin@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us > [mailto:plug-discuss-admin@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us]On Behalf Of Tom > Achtenberg > Sent: Friday, August 03, 2001 2:21 PM > To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us > Subject: Re: Qwest.net changing to MSN > > > > ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- > Qwest announced it to the subscribers several weeks ago. > > > Dan Brown wrote: > > >I just saw on /. that qwest.net is changing over to MSN (should I > >be surprised that I heard about this first from a 3rd party and > >not from Qwest?). > > > >Of course, Qwest has never supported Linux so all their references > >are to Windows (Mac people have to wait). > > > >If I correctly read the small print in the MSN Disclaimer section of > >the the Qwest FAQ found on /. > > > > http://www.qwest.net/nav4/msn/faq.html > > > >I see that I may be paying more for this unrequested service: > > > > Offer Details: You must additionally subscribe to MSN Internet > Access in > > accordance with its Subscription Agreement to access the service.
