I use StarOffice and OpenOffice back and forth all the time. When I'm in a hurry I use AbiWord. The only problem I ever have is if someone has saved multiple revisions of a .doc file and then email it to me and I open it in Abi I can see the revision history, and it looks as though it was a monkey typing!!! Every spot where something was corrected after a save, both instances show up.. Otherwise, everything is great, no problems at all. We even have some with Office 2000. nathan ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kit Plummer" To: "PLUG-Discuss" Sent: Wednesday, July 25, 2001 8:16 AM Subject: Office-Compatibility... > I am curious about peoples opinions of Linux-based "office" apps and > their compatibility to MS-Office. > > I have used StarOffice for sometime now, It does fairly well with > everything except saving Word Documents.
