I have used mgetty in the past (before I purchased a Cisco
router to do the job). I could possibly help with some dialup
issues you may have. Works quite nice when you get everything
in correct alignment :)

As far as any fax package, I would love to see a thread on this as
I never did get it to work (no much effort went into it anyway:)
