My next cooling project will be based around the remains of a drinking fountain with r134a based cooler... Yes, condensation will doubtless be an issue... condensation can be an issue even with PASSIVE cooling however, believe it or not. When I lived in Ventura, CA .. I had this matrix of five 12V fans that I ran at around 17V. Each was 5.25 volts, and spun at maddening speeds. They also had a scary looking claw shape to them, and were quite loud.. but they cooled the apartment nicely. One day I noticed that after I had left them running for a while, condensation was forming at the base of the fan... simply from the pressure and temp changes as the air whisked thru the fan! -- jkenner @ mindspring . com__ I Support Linux: _> _ _ |_ _ _ _| Working Together To <__(_||_)| )| `(_|(_)(_| To Build A Better Future. |
