Or better still, have two identical systems, side by side, one running Linux 0.01 (essentially doing nothing; I think 0.01 was just a simple task-switcher) with a placard of the date Linux 0.01 was released (1991), and the other running the latest whiz-bang, super graphics/sound, streaming video, TV card, yada yada yada, with a placard of whatever Linux kernel version it's running and the current date. Maybe have a copy of the earliest version of M$-DOS (1.0?) and the date it was released (198?) for comparison (i.e., M$ had a eight-year "head start" on Linux). "You've come a long way, Tuxxy!"
