moin, moin, debian is working on a way to grab a package from a specific dist, e.g. stable, testing or unstable. The new mechanism will be something like: apt-get sudo/testing In the meantime grab the following tarball and unpack it from /. http://home.pages.de/~lufthans/unix/packages/apt-tu.tgz This adds apt-test, apt-cache-test, apt-uns and apt-cache-uns to /usr/local/bin as well as sources files for test and uns and some other sundry things for the backend. With this you can keep the 3 dists separate. apt-test update apt-test install sudo Half of my machines are exclusivelely testing. Been using these things for months, just keep not getting to putting them up for others to use. ciao, der.hans -- # der.hans@LuftHans.com home.pages.de/~lufthans/ www.YourCompanyHere.net ;-) # Practice socially consious hedonism.
