I used the term "smack dab" as a figure of speech. I have tried the format 1.2.3.4/27 but it failed. 255.255.255.224 is my mask, I have tried 1.2.3.4/255.255.255.224 and the above with no sucess. Am I missing something here? Mike mgcon@getnet.com http://www.getnet.com/~mgcon Phoenix, AZ USA On Sat, 3 Mar 2001 Eden.Li@asu.edu wrote: > > I think you want to use CIDR.. If there's a considerable amount of ppl who have little interest in going east up to Mesa in rush hour, we should find a place more in the centre of the valley, as it makes little sense to fall from one extreme into the other. Imo, the real issue at hand is to find a properly located installation where those meetings can be held. Maybe we can all together compose a mail which can be sent out to companies / institutions in the valley, offering them to help (and possible share some clout) out a non-profit organization which busies itself with the hottest new technology in the last 10 years. -Armin KAA> Trent, KAA> Impoverished???
