An interesting tidbit from the AZIPA list, usually a bastion of MS support ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: [azipa] MSN Spam Date: Fri, 16 Feb 2001 16:52:22 -0800 From: "jubileecdc" To: "azipa" Hi All: Downloaded MSN Explorer 6.0, a real "ship & then test" program. Showed this to several AZIPA folks and all had the same response> " can't believe this is a MS program"> "Very poor quality" DO NOT get this download MSN so called Browser. 13 hours and 5 tech's later uninstalled 6.0 and reinstalled Outlook Express. NOW THE MSN SPAM>> 1" high and across the entire Desktop at the bottom on the email is a MSN Banner advertising Gates & MSN Chat. Called MS again, 6th time, talked to a MSN Supervisor. The Supervisor denied it was there. The MSN Banner blinks and then changes every 5sec. describing the Great Gates. What do you feel about this type on ad?
