Works for me, I'm using Debian 2.2r2, with the MBR tool, so even if lilo doesn't work, I know for SURE that MBR does. (You hold in shift when you see MBR, then press A to get a list of partititions, press the number of the partition you'd like to boot and voila!) * Blake -----Original Message----- From: Lucas Vogel [mailto:lvogel@exponent.com] Sent: Monday, January 15, 2001 1:21 PM To: 'plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us' Subject: RE: at least triple boot Would that really fix it, though? I configured lilo during the install process to boot both linux and windows, but I don't even get a lilo prompt at boot time... -----Original Message----- From: Blake Barnett [mailto:Blake.Barnett@DevelopOnline.com] Sent: Monday, January 15, 2001 1:07 PM To: 'plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us' Subject: RE: at least triple boot Start linux with a rescue disk (chroot, etc.), add your windows 2000 configuration to lilo.conf, and re-run lilo. I've been trying to put TurboLinux on my laptop all weekend, but after I install it I only get Windows automatically booting. Thanks(and sorry Mike for stepping on top of you :) ) -----Original Message----- From: Mike Starke [mailto:mgcon@neta.com] Sent: Monday, January 15, 2001 12:52 PM To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us Subject: at least triple boot I have a case where I have to outfit my sales team with the abilty to boot from at least three of MS's current windows OS's. It has been a looooooong time since I have done a dual boot (I use vmware, which will not work in this case), and was wondering if a small linux distro and allowing lilo to handle this would work. Any suggestions?
