Especially for business check with RNi or other wireless providers. I have SpeedChoice, e.g. one-way, and though I don't have too many probs with them, I have more than I should. Depending on how subscribed the sector is 2-way, e.g. Sprint, is supposed to be one of the worst things or pretty good. If you're in a sector that can't get cable-modem or dsl, you're probably in an oversubscribed sector. They've axed the SpeedChoice tech support. I'm told Sprint/Earthlink really never has had it. Don't know myself. > They say you are not suppose to put up a whole network but they said a > firewall box is okay. They use fixed IP. RNi doesn't care what's downwind of their router (which is a Linux box). I don't think the other wireless companies I've looked at do either. They, however, are higher end than 'broadband' :). ciao, der.hans -- # der.hans@LuftHans.com home.pages.de/~lufthans/ www.YourAdHere.com ;-) # When I work, I work hard.
