If so, check /etc/ld.so.conf and make sure that /usr/kerberos/lib is listed in this file. Another thing to do is to try running "ldd" on the binaries that you're having trouble with. E.g. try "ldd /usr/sbin/lpd". On my RH 7 system, this prints the following: saguaro:kev$ ldd /usr/sbin/lpd libkrb5.so.3 => /usr/kerberos/lib/libkrb5.so.3 (0x40023000) libk5crypto.so.3 => /usr/kerberos/lib/libk5crypto.so.3 (0x4008b000) libcom_err.so.3 => /usr/kerberos/lib/libcom_err.so.3 (0x400a0000) libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x400a2000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000) You should check to make sure that all of these paths exist and that the libraries in question have the correct permissions set.
