> > Hi All, > Unable to get KDE CD Player to recognize a music CD. Get the following message > "No matching CDDBentry found" This means that the CD player simply did not find an entry for that CD in its database. This is (should be?) just a warning, and should not result in lack of playability of the cd. Do you get any other errors/warnings/whatever? (I'm not using SUSE, so cannot help you much there, sorry!) Also, I'll have to look a bit at the error message to see which device or resource is busy.. rusty From Don Harrop Mon Dec 4 20:11:40 2000 From: Don Harrop (Don Harrop) Date: Mon, 4 Dec 2000 13:11:40 -0700 (MST) Subject: Screen Captures in X windows In-Reply-To: Message-ID: man xwd ;-) On Mon, 4 Dec 2000, Furmanek, Greg wrote: > have you tried gimp? > > -> -----Original Message----- > -> From: Justin Wilson [mailto:justin@labxpress.com] > -> Sent: Saturday, December 02, 2000 9:47 PM > -> To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us > -> Subject: Screen Captures in X windows > -> > -> > -> Is there anyone that can direct me to a resource for doing > -> screen captures > -> in X windows? > -> > -> -Justin > -> justin@labxpress.com > -> > -> > -> ________________________________________________ > -> See http://PLUG.phoenix.az.us/navigator-mail.shtml if your > -> mail doesn't post to the list quickly and you use Netscape > -> to write mail. > -> > -> Plug-discuss mailing list - Plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us > -> http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss > -> > > ________________________________________________ > See http://PLUG.phoenix.az.us/navigator-mail.shtml if your mail doesn't post to the list quickly and you use Netscape to write mail. > > Plug-discuss mailing list - Plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us > http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss > From Don Harrop Mon Dec 4 20:29:36 2000 From: Don Harrop (Don Harrop) Date: Mon, 4 Dec 2000 13:29:36 -0700 (MST) Subject: BSD and file spliting Message-ID: Funny you guys talked about BSD over the weekend. I haven't read any posts but I had a 4.1 copy of FreeBSD that I played with over the weekend. After I found out that the burned CD I got from someone would boot but not read the file system on the CD to do it's install, I burned another copy with a different computer that would read it and everything else went ok.. I just got a copy of 4.2 FreeBSD today at work and I want to get it home but it's an ISO and I'm on dialup at home. Anybody know of a good way to break the ISO into smaller chunks so I can use my portable ZIP drive to get it back home? I'd be interested in any meetings you would like to talk about BSD at plug meetings too. Don
