moin, moin,

due to a misunderstanding with how the ITEC stuff = worked PLUG had to come
up with the $70 for electricity on the spot for our = booth during
ITEC. Having juice helped our presentation. It = allowed us to show off
Linux, demonstrate a sponsor's (RNi) capabilities = and let people sign up
for the mailing list from the booth :).

Robbie of Viking Systems dipped into his pocket to = pay for it at the time,
but he should get reimbursed. Viking Systems was = already helping us out by
giving most of their staff those two days off to = work the booth as well as
paying the printing costs on the flyers we had, = buying us the cool banner
that we'll have at next month's meeting and = providing most of the
equipment for the booth.

We had another sponsor that was going to pony up with = some cash to help
PLUG out for ITEC and other things. We were planning = on paying Robbie back
from that, but unfortunately that sponsorship money = hasn't materialized.

So, the question is: Do we have a company out there = that will provide us
with the money to repay Robbie for the PLUG expense = he fronted us?

We, of course, can promise nothing in return except = our public gratitude.

ITEC was very successful for us. Events like this = help us promote Linux as
well as give us an opportunity to help our sponsors = who provide us with
all the SWAG Jim gets for givaways at the = meetings.

ciao,
