I installed a copy of RH 7.0 because I thought this contained all = packages necessary for a dual monitor. =20 I can start gnome with startx but when I logout out of gnome to CLI I = get a warning that states: =20 Xlib: extension "XINERAMA" missing on display ":0.0". the command XFree86 -version returns XFree86 Version 4.0.01a /X Window System ... But, the command X -version returns XFree86 Version 3.3.6 / X Window System ... The Xinerama how to dated Nov2 2000 does not seem to clarify. When I try to start gnome with startx -- +xinerama I just get a page = listing what appears to be startx options. I would appreciate any suggestions.
