splay 0.7 worked great for the X5-160 (AMD5x86@160MHz, 64MB ram, 256K L2, 40MHz system bus, 40MHz PCI, 20MHz ISA) splay 0.8 is multithreaded and chops on that older system, however, on the K6 and K6-2 based systems I have used it consumed far less processor time.
