-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 For some reason when people try to telnet into our Solaris box from outside our firewall it takes an incredibly long time to get the login prompt. I have seen this issue before but I can't remember how the hell I fixed it. At first I thought it was a reverse DNS lookup failure and so I setup DNS correctly on the client machine and it has no problem doing an nslookup, nor does it take a long time to do a traceroute or ping to the server with IP or name. This does the same thing when connecting to the server with Tarantella (the servers primary role is as our webtop application server.) Anyone have any ideas here? I'm running out! * Blake -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 6.5.3 for non-commercial use iQA/AwUBOcGrrYJjITnPnJ/REQKHxgCcC8ZlER7tPRARINV85/nC9EYPZX0An3po WvcnwwSBGkdpwrjlosqgJAPK =wYHe -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
