Yup. I actually got it to redirect a few times then it stopped again. It's weird. I can explicitly pull up the page. -----Original Message----- From: Michael Sheldon [mailto:msheldon@desertraven.com] Sent: Wednesday, August 30, 2000 5:35 PM To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us Subject: RE: Apache and Custom 404 pages It looks OK. You did restart apache, right? Can you request that page explicitly? Michael J. We are using Virtual hosts and I have embedded the errordocument into the section as follows: DocumentRoot /www/axs/ ServerName axs.noze.com ErrorDocument 404 /missing.html ErrorLog /www/logs/axs.error_log CustomLog /www/logs/axs.access_log combined Then in /www/axs I have a missing.html file. All permissions match the rest of the site. When I type a bad URL I still get the default 404. I am using apache 1.3.12 Any help is appreciated. thanks, Dave ________________________________________________ See http://PLUG.phoenix.az.us/navigator-mail.shtml if your mail doesn't post to the list quickly and you use Netscape to write mail.
