All I can say to that is "WHAT?!"
It has nothing to do with "HTML aware". Most email clients break the
message into 2 parts, one plain text and one html when sending the
email. The client program recoginzes the content type and displays the
one that it recognizes. The other is treated the same as an attachment.
It takes almost no CPU time (unless you are on a 386... you aren't are
you?). I really can't believe that's your reason.
Is that worth a statement like this:
"Please use Plain text!!!"
