I have always found it easiest to get mail from a POP account using fetchmail and pine. Just set up a .fetchmailrc in your home dir, something like: #fetchmail conf example poll mail.rickrosinski.com with proto POP3 user "USERNAME" there with password "PASSWORD" is YOUR_LOCAL_USERNAME here #end of example configuring pine is pretty straightforward. you can run fetchmail as a daemon to automatically check your pop accounts. hth, todd > -----Original Message----- > From: plug-discuss-admin@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us > [mailto:plug-discuss-admin@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us]On Behalf Of Richard > Rosinski > Sent: Saturday, August 12, 2000 9:03 PM > To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us > Subject: Retrieving pop3 mail > > > I have just migrated to Redhat 6.2 from Slackware.
