\_ What sort of TERM does emacs emulate? It defaults to emacs but I don't have \_ that term type on my system. Of course xterm and ansi don't seem to work. I \_ didn't see anything obvious in the man page. heh...I wouldn't try full screen editing with it; you already have emacs open, try that. :-) set it to vt52 or vt100 and you should be better. or the popular 'unknown' term type. :-) David
