UW IMAP is free, but it sucks, as does most UW stuff :( many holes all the time (you'd think linux folks woulda learned their lesson with IMAP servers by now ;) UW IMAP also doesn't handle folders correctly, still, btw. Cyrus is the BOMB. I am using it with Postfix for the back-end of a webmail system. (www.horde.org/imp is the one I like) rock it like you was herbie hancock, adam Message: 3 Date: Sun, 23 Jul 2000 12:59:50 -0700 From: Digital Wokan To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us Subject: Re: imap server Reply-To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us Fat load of good Cyrus will do me if I'm trying to pitch using Linux for our mail server to my boss. It's only free for personal use. What's a good GPL (or at least free) POP3 or IMAP server for use in a corporate environment? ---------------------------------------------------- - Adam Muntner \ Save the Whales! - - adam@alienzoo.com \ Collect Valuable - - Systems Engineer \ Prizes! - - http://www.alienzoo.com \ - ---------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------- Get free email and alien enlightenment from http://www.alienzoo.com
