I meant that for Nate, regarding his .kshrc, I'd assume it was +x but you
never know...  

I put this in my .profile for bash, it'd work for .kshrc I'm sure:

if [ -x .bashrc ]; then
   . ./.bashrc
else
   echo "Problem with .bashrc, check it out"
fi
