You know, I've bugged numerous companies for different things(all pertaining to Linux), and I've found that the less the person you complain to hears from, the less they hear you overall. I propose we set up some kind of a 'bitch list', where we list the names and contact information, and the feature/request/complaint of the company we are trying to get to listen to us, and those of us who decide to participate can help by adding a chorus to their call. Here we're talking about a feature for webshots.com. I just got done wrestling with HP support about scanner support. The smaller the number, the higher tendency to ignore. I say we fight! We fight by all complaining at once! Send me the contact information and I'll echo your request. I downloaded and used wine to install (with no troubles at all) fired it up and was able to browse the thumbnail versions of the pictures. everything seemed to run great under wine but yet I dont think wine knows how to set the root window so I was unable to get the pictures to set as my background. they are also in a propritary compression format that wont let you export the webshots copyrighted pictures from them. I guess the only other choice would be to bug them to make a linux version prefrebly with great gnome and kde support.
