Is there anything that needs to be running on the server side for the ssh to be set up? -----Original Message----- From: sinck@owmyeye.ugive.com [mailto:sinck@owmyeye.ugive.com] Sent: Friday, July 07, 2000 2:40 PM To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us Subject: RE: Linux client, Windows server \_ Can I do that from home though? I guess I should have been a little more \_ specific...I want to VPN with my Linux box at home to out network at work. \_ Or do I still do a little dance? :) Is there a firewall? The best way would be to do it quietly (ssh!) to a secure box at work, then smb to that. You don't want to leak information over your home provider's network.
