OpenBSD is arguably the most secure OS out there. Built-in encryption (they can do that, they're Canadians), and most services are disabled by default, as opposed to most Linux distros. BSD kernel, which is considered by many to be a better kernel than Linux. Most programs in the *BSDs are licensed under the BSD license, which gives even more freedom than the GNU GPL.
