Well, I am an openBSD newbie, but I know that on the openbsd page (www.openbsd.org) they answer your very question (in the FAQ section I think). OpenBSD employs an interesting security Paradigm that is active. i think they call it proactive security on the site. Also, they have loads of integrated cryptography. The site has a wealth of info, check it out. E-mail me off the list if you want to share experiences using it as a newbie. - Joel ----- Original Message ----- From: "KeithSmith" To: Sent: Thursday, June 15, 2000 12:55 PM Subject: Re: OpenBSD 2.7 is out > Hey Joel, > > I am running OpenLinux by Caldera 2.3 and am > wondering if there would be any advantage to > switching to OpenBSD? > > Thanks, > Keith > > > Joel Dudley wrote: > > > > Wooohoooo!!!
