Going back to the ftp install, each and every time I try, the installation dies shortly after I begin. It failed with the Red Hat ftp install and again later with the Mandrake 7.1 ftp install. Each repeated attempt produced the same results. When you go to ftp install, you have some choices of static, DHCP and some other option. Whenever I choose DHCP it fails to find my IP. If I choose static IP it continues. How can I induce these ftp sites to continue the ftp installation? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craig White" To: Sent: Friday, June 09, 2000 2:15 PM Subject: RE: RedHat 6.2 install throws exception > Actually, I don't think it's a bad download...it has something to do with > finishing script in python.
