It seems like on Wed, May 24, 2000 at 12:59:25PM -0700, der.hans scribbled: Orig Msg> Orig Msg> My deb fit in less than 200 MB and I didn't even remove too much. In fact Orig Msg> I added a whole bunch ;-). Jean's probably runs on 3MB and 2 of that is Orig Msg> logs from this hour with archives being held at an off-site location in a Orig Msg> country without extradition agreements with the US ;-). Orig Msg> Orig Msg> ciao, Orig Msg> My current firewall install is a base Debian install with a couple of "modifications". The entire installation runs on a 45MB installation. If I really went to work on it I could get it down to 20MB. Most of it is man pages, info pages, and HOWTOs that are leftovers from the early days. FWIW a firewall should have nothing but what is required to run. No compiler. No RPC services. No nothing. If you install anything else it is just one more thing to have to remember to turn off or worry about. P.S. Did anyone see our merger announcement today? Sweeeeet! Jean Francois Sends...
