I'm trying the same thing only using my 486SX2 50 MHZ 420 MB Hard Drive and 4 MB of RAM I realize that with that amount of ram there is no way I'm going to get any of the GUIs to work and honesty I dont' care for any of them so I'm not worried about that but are there any firewalls that will work on this machine (I'm thinking it'll be next to impossible to get more memory for it). I have access to Red Hat or the Corel distribution (which I understand is really just Debian) . Are there better distribution to work pared down like this? I'll only be using it for the firewall.
