The Zend optimizer is free (beer, not recipe). The Zend Compiler, to be released later this year will be a commercial product. Right now the PHP and Zend sites appear to be slashdotted, so I can't get the text of the optimiser license. (I'm not currently using the optimiser) Michael J. What was the deal with the optimizer during the betas? Was it free or did you have to buy a pseudo-license for it? -----Original Message----- From: Mike Sheldon [mailto:msheldon@desertraven.com] Sent: Monday, May 22, 2000 1:20 PM To: plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us Subject: PHP4 Released. First it was, then it wasn't, then it was. All in one day. The final release of PHPv4 is available. I've been working with the betas and the release candidates for a few months now. The product is very fine. Michael J.
