man rcs and see if -c is what you want? \_ I'm testing cross-compatibility between two versions \_ of CVS (1.10 on Linux and 1.3 on a very old system, \_ can't update it so we're stuck). The question I have \_ is with regards to the newer version though. \_ \_ On the 1.3, a cvs update would yield ' * ' prepending \_ $Log entries (space, *, space). In the newer version \_ there is nothing. I was told it may be some RCS config \_ to be modified but I haven't been able to find \_ anything \_ about this in the docs, and haven't found anything in \_ the config of 1.3 (no .cvsrc or other local config \_ files) or env on that system that would indicate any \_ parameters modified for this behaviour. I'm trying to \_ emulate it under Linux with 1.10. Anyone know what I \_ should be looking for? \_ \_ Thanks! \_ \_ Emmanuel \_ \_ __________________________________________________ \_ Do You Yahoo!? \_ Send instant messages & get email alerts with Yahoo!
