Hi all, I'm going to be at the meeting tonight, just thought i'd point that out. Now, a few questions: 1) I've been using Mandrake 6.0, but recently got Corel (based on Debian) as a gift. The Deluxe box is great, it comes with all sorts of neat little apps. I installed it on what used to be my Windows partition(Win9x is gone for good), and everything got installed nicely(they're install script is prettier than anything else i've seen...). But when I start X (it uses kdm/kde by default), all of the normal text is replaced with black boxes, and some of the graphics, too. It works fine under Mandrake, so I copied my Mandrake XF86Config file over, but still no luck. One of the biggest problems I noticed was the lack of the Xconfigurator. It has xf86setup, but I like the configurator more. Any suggestions on getting this to work? 2) Just curious, but is there a way to get .deb packages to work under Mandrake? Nothing really important, just applications and stuff. 3) Ack, I had another question too. Can't think of it now though. Oh well. Phil This .sig has been removed to protect the innocent.
