kind of oxymoron isn't it...security and PC Anywhere? use port forwarding. I believe PC Anywhere uses port 5832 & 5833 (can't really check this out right now but it can be verified by 'opening a copy of PC Anywhere). Set the ipchains/masq firewall to port forward it directly to the computer on the internal network (by ip address). kinda like this... #echo " * Forwarding SSH traffic on port 26 to 192.168.0.5" /usr/sbin/ipmasqadm portfw -a -P tcp -L $EXTIP 26 -R 192.168.0.5 22 Craig ----:----|----:----|----:----|----:----|----:----|----:----| - Craig White - PO Box 8634 - Scottsdale, Arizona - 85252 - e-mail address ................ - CraigWhite@AzApple.com - world wide web address ........ - http://www.AzApple.com - e-mail my pager address ....... - 6023779752@airtouch.net - cellular phone ................ - (602) 377-9752 - voice/facsimile ............... - (480) 945-8445 ----:----|----:----|----:----|----:----|----:----|----:----| > -----Original Message----- > From: plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > [mailto:plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us]On Behalf Of Joel > Dudley > Sent: Friday, April 28, 2000 4:12 PM > To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > Subject: FORWARDING ??? > > > I am working on a ipchains/masq firewall here and I am having > trouble seeing > something.
