Actually, I've seen modern acoustic couplers sold in "Road Warrior"-type kits for people who travel to foreign countries. These kits usually include multiple items to get you connected: RJ11-to-whatnot adapters, gator clips, you name it. The acoustic couplers aren't for a specific handset (like the one in "WarGames"), but rather the receiver part and the transmitter part are separate, and attached to your Princess phone via Velcro(TM) or Duct Tape(KA).
