Ahhh a newbies plight with Qmail. I have another newbie question and I am sorry to bother everyone with it but at least you can have the satisfaction of knowing that once the Qmail server is running well we can get rid of an NT server. Anyway, I got the Qmail RPm which just has a tarball and did a rpm --rebuild on it and I got the following error: /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.11631:make: command not found bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.11631 (% installed) Do i need to do something with my makefile? I have a feeling that I have not set up my system correctly in regards to make file. Thanks a million! - Joel ----- Original Message ----- From: J. I noticed on the qmail web site they suggest using tcpserver instead of inetd. What implications will this have for the rest of my system? Is this goign to affect telnet and FTP?? I am a newbie if you havent figured it out. Thanks again in advance. > Orig Msg> > Orig Msg> - Joel > > tcpserver is kick-a$$ but you don't have to use it with qmail. > set up with inetd first then ease into tcpserver. > > Jean Francois Sends... > President & CEO MagusNet, Inc. > MagusNet.com > CTO EBIZ Enterprises, Inc. > TheLinuxStore.com,TheLinuxLab.com,LinuxWired.net > > > > _______________________________________________ > Plug-discuss mailing list - Plug-discuss@lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us > http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
