There's always the Arizona Freenet -- telnet to aztec2.asu.edu for
information and to start signup.  The mail interface is primitive
especially regarding attachments.  You can set forwarding to any
site that'll accept it, and forwarded attachments go through without
any problem.  It doesn't make you look at ads; it's a genuinely free
service for Arizona residents.
