I have installed Debian potato on my lap top. aside from a few bugs that I am getting rid of through updating every day I can't seem to get the console to use my keyboard right. when typing things the letters seem to be arranged differently. like `q' key actually prints `a' and the `w' key actually prints `x' and vise versa. I don't know what causes this. I figured there would be some kind of keyboard mapping for the console but I am unable to find it. Once I got the messed up keys figured out I was able to log in and everything was fine in X windows. also everything was fine through the install. Just after the first reboot that it started this weird behavior Bill Warner ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
