As repentance, the command would be [...]

find / -type d -name '.*' -print

Hmmm, that doesn't list the simple '.' and '..' directories.  My bad.  

Unless of course you were using 'ls -alR' for this, in which case it
would list the extra dirs.


\_ This only shows how important firewalls are....

And disabling services you don't need and watching bugtraq and/or
vendor updates.
