              That's odd. I used Cox email for years with Thunderbird
              without issues.<br>
              Maybe they changed something on their back end?<br>

              Are you sure you are connecting to the correct SMTP
              server?<br>
              <br>
              Also Cox should not care what operating system you are
              using.<br>
              Thunderbird is OS agnostic software. Their instructions
              for using<br>
              Thunderbird on Windows should be sufficient.<br>
