<p>If I'm having this problem and you are, then others are also. I
read a few days ago that an update has been released. While I was
typing this, I checked my old phone. This feature worked on it.
Now it doesn't. I just had the bad luck to notice it soon after a
new release came out. I'll wait for developers to notice and fix
it.<br>

<p>The screen is not locked when I've tried this. KDE
connect does allow me to send data to the computer. Until
this is fixed, I'll just use sftp to send data to the
desktop. If it's a lot of data, I'll shut off the phone
and put its SD card in the computer.<br>

Stephen, I checked remote filesystem browser in
settings on the desktop, and it's enabled. On the
phone kde connect has storage permissions and all
other permissions I can give it. (contacts, phone,
sms, and storage)<br>

connect works on it except for the

installed on it. Is this a problem
with android 8? I know android gets to
be more of a pain in the ass to use
