If you're having issues with darktable, post a question about the problem, upgrading the OS seems like overkill.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I've mentioned this before, you should look at running your system in a virtual machine.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Then before making changes to the system you can take a snapshot, make the changes and then test them. I then tried putting a previous version on and this time it installed (instead of failing) but when I restart the computer it loaded the live disk (which was not in the computer at the time. What in the world did I do?<br></div>
