I have two Roku 2 players, an XS and an XD. The XS works just fine, with an occasional stop and re-buffering after the first minute and then no issues after that. I think it is a Roku issue, and it is time to get some new Roku hardware. They are pretty cheap on Amazon. I tried disabling the firewall on my plex server, and the symptoms are the same - the video starts and plays for a few minutes then the roku plex app goes away and I have to reconnect to the plex server.
