update today and now I have a couple of serious problems.

I use Thunderbird
mail and today I have reminders that won’t go away. I tried
dismiss and snooze and dismiss all, tried the X in the upper
corner
and close in the panel bar at the bottom of the screen. It
closes and
comes right back.

I also use
Audicity
and it’s giving me a debug report when I open the program. That
is
also new today after the update. When I click on the OK button,
it
clears the debug report and closes the program.

only
two programs I’ve used so far today, so I don’t know what else
lurks in my system.

to
do is undo the upgrade and redo the upgrades one item at a time.

online
